Repeal of safe lending protections to be debated Monday

The National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Supporting Economic Recovery) Bill 2020 has been scheduled for debate this coming Monday 15 March in the Federal Senate.

Consumer groups strongly oppose the legislation with over 33,000 Australians and 125 community groups signing an open letter against the laws: https://action.choice.com.au/page/69531/petition/1
