Amy Pereira worked at CHOICE from 2019 to 2022 on a range of issues including making markets safer, improving transparency in the funeral sector, shaping the Australian Consumer Law so that it's effective and fit for purpose, and on consumer data issues, ensuring that our data is collected and used in ways that don't harm us.
Previously, Amy worked as a policy officer at the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet and at the federal Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. She has a Master of Policy and Applied Social Research (Macquarie University), a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (University of Sydney) and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration (University of Canberra).
