Electric shavers offer a convenient alternative to shaving with a razor. With two types to choose from – foil (with oscillating blades) and rotary (with rotating heads) – and many features to boot, they’re a popular alternative to the classic blade.

Our expert tester conducted in-house testing in the CHOICE labs. We also put each shaver through a user trial to determine how easy they are to use. Our results can tell you which shavers:

• leave your skin feeling the best after shaving
• have the longest battery life and shortest charge time.
