Jane Martin (BA, MPH) is Executive Manager of Alcohol and Obesity Policy at Cancer Council Victoria, and leads the Obesity Policy Coalition (OPC). The OPC is a partnership between Cancer Council Victoria, Diabetes Victoria, VicHealth and the Global Obesity Centre at Deakin University, a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Obesity Prevention. The OPC advocates for evidence-based policy and regulatory change to address overweight, obesity and unhealthy diets in Australia.

She is involved in a range of research collaborations, sits on committees including the Australian National Preventive Health Agency's Expert Committee on Obesity and is active in the media. Jane's interests lie in public health advocacy, policy oriented research and using evidence informed arguments for policy reform.
