She has a degree in food science and nutrition and a master's degree in nutrition and dietetics, and she's also studied business. Before working at CHOICE, Shadia worked as a nutritionist within the food industry, a clinical dietitian, worked in health promotion, and did some lecturing at a university. As a content producer at CHOICE, she was responsible for testing a range of food categories looking at taste and nutrition.
